Introduction
DiamondsByPost and DiamondsByPost.com are trading names owned and operated by Amit Verma Jewellery LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates.
DiamondsByPost specialises exclusively in the sale of loose lab-grown diamonds. We do not sell finished jewellery through DiamondsByPost.com.
Our diamonds are sourced through an international supply network and may be shipped from different global diamond centres depending on stock availability, supplier location, grading laboratory location, fulfilment route, and logistics requirements.
Because loose lab-grown diamonds are high-value, certificate-specific, internationally traded products, our returns and refunds process is strict. This policy is designed to protect customers and DiamondsByPost from loss, damage, fraud, diamond substitution, certificate issues, customs issues, shipping risk, and market price fluctuations.
By placing an order with DiamondsByPost or DiamondsByPost.com, the customer agrees to this Returns & Refunds Policy.
Product Scope
This policy applies only to loose lab-grown diamonds purchased from DiamondsByPost or DiamondsByPost.com.
DiamondsByPost primarily sells lab-grown diamonds certified by:

General Return Position
All sales are treated as final sale unless:
1. DiamondsByPost approves the return in writing.
2. The diamond supplied is proven to be materially incorrect.
3. The diamond is proven to have been damaged before delivery.
4. A return, replacement, or refund is required under applicable mandatory law.
Customer Reasons That Do Not Create a Return Right
DiamondsByPost is not required to accept a return simply because the customer:
5. Changed their mind.
6. Found another diamond elsewhere.
7. Found a cheaper diamond elsewhere.
8. Ordered the wrong specification.
9. Selected the wrong shape, carat weight, colour, clarity, cut, ratio, certificate, or measurement.
10. Did not like the diamond visually despite it matching the confirmed order details.
11. No longer wants the diamond.
12. Experienced a market price change after purchase.
13. Had a change in personal circumstances.
14. Failed to check the product details before placing the order.
Mandatory Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove any mandatory legal rights that cannot legally be excluded under United Arab Emirates law or any other mandatory law that applies to the transaction.
No Automatic Right to Return
A return is not automatically accepted.
The customer must request written return authorisation from DiamondsByPost before sending any diamond back.
Any diamond returned without written authorisation may be:
15. Refused.
16. Rejected.
17. Delayed.
18. Returned to the customer at the customer’s cost.
19. Held pending further investigation.
Right to Refuse Return
DiamondsByPost reserves the right to refuse any return where the conditions in this policy are not met.
24-Hour Return Request Window
The customer must inspect the diamond immediately upon delivery.
Any return request must be submitted by email to support@diamondsbypost.com within 24 hours of delivery.
The 24-hour period starts from the time the courier marks the parcel as delivered, signed for, collected, or made available to the customer.
Return requests made after 24 hours may be refused unless DiamondsByPost is required by applicable mandatory law to consider the request.
This strict inspection period exists because loose diamonds are high-value, internationally sourced, certificate-specific products that can be affected by handling, setting, substitution risk, damage risk, and market price movement.
